Role To support and deliver a warehouse operative service to the business and its customers. Responsibilities • Storing materials, picking and packing orders • Preparing and completing orders for delivery • Load, unload vehicles, prepare, assemble, inspect furniture • Assist colleagues and customers where necessary • Assist driver in the delivery of a wide range of furniture, across a number of different locations/routes • Keep warehouse in a clean and safe working condition and optimise space • Communicate effectively and co-operate with supervisors and co-workers alike Candidate Requirements • Ability to lift heavy large furniture items and objects with ease • Customer satisfaction orientated • Well-developed communication skills and confident ability to speak with people face to face • Organisational and time management skills Person characteristics • A can do attitude with a positive, calm and polite nature • Reliable with ability to juggle a number of projects • Team focused Education • Standard High School Educational Grades • Work experience in Retail Warehouse or furniture removal would be desirable • Fork lift certificate is advantageous What do we offer? • Competitive salary • Pension plan • Generous holidays • Staff discount • Free parking • Friendly, modern working environment
