Service & Commissioning Engineer - Worldwide Travel/ Rutland / Attractive Package
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a strong Service & Commissioning Engineering immediate effect to join our clients growing team based in the Rutland area.
The Service Engineer will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering and sales activities to support After market & Service Department.
Roles & Responsibilities• The service engineer will be responsible for undertaking on-site commissioning & maintenance activities, trouble shooting, training and site supervision developing excellent end user relationships exceeding our customer's expectations at all times.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:• Working on fired equipment within the oil, gas and petrochemical industries both in the UK and worldwide which will involve extensive travel• Individually undertaking on-site commissioning of both new and retrofit equipment, general maintenance, trouble shooting, fault finding analysis, installation supervision, plant surveys and inspections, draft and deliver training to end user personnel• Prepare site visit reports and maintain time sheets for submission to clients• Using service & commissioning activity as a platform to identify potential opportunities for additional after market spares and site service support• Supervise on site turnaround / outages contracts• To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a safe working environment
Competencies - Essential• Strong overall multi-skilled engineering working knowledge of both PLC, electrical and mechanical systems• Able to work confidently on their own initiative as well as a part of a team• Ability to identify and maintain appropriate standards whilst working alone• Prepared to travel and be away from home• Capable to promote the company's image and products• Be self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
