A National and Independent Project & Cost Consultancy are looking to recruit an experienced and senior level Quantity Surveyor to join their small but growing and ambitious team in Liverpool. (They can also accommodate QS's in Manchester). Whilst this practice has several projects on the go in most sectors, this role will have a main focus within their new build residential team heading this up and delivering for various high profile housing trusts across the region. Very much a PQS type position offering full pre & post contract services as well as employers agent work. You will be working alongside the two Project Directors and given full support in guiding the team further into new sectors whilst having an integral role in developing the team itself. Requirements: Have strong communication (both written and verbal) skills and an interpersonal style that enables you to flourish in a direct client facing role Knowledge in Employers Agent work will be key for this role MRICS Qualified or working towards your APC via the diary or professional route. Be able to chair meetings and have the leadership skills needed to lead a project team, which may sometimes include managing conflict and resolving complex issues Have exceptional planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands Be able to work independently, make sensible judgments and decisions, and take responsibility for doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
