This is an opportunity to join an emerging medical device start-up and lead the product design function for their next generation product targeted at reducing the risk involved in patient lines.
What will my responsibilities be?
As the Senior Product Design Engineer you will act as the technical SME within the development team.
You will lead the product development from concept to manufacture, working proactively and reactively to any changes that may be required.
Utilising a variety of design software such as SolidWorks to generate 3D CAD designs.
Working closely with other departments such as QA/RA on the preparation and submission of Technical Files/Design History Files.
You will liaise with the multi-disciplinary project team to ensure the successfully completion of the company projects.
What do I need to succeed?
In order to succeed in this role, you will have at least 5 years experience within the medical device design sector. Working in this area means you will have a strong understanding of ISO13485 QMS to both U.K and EU medical device regulations.
Previous experience working with injection moulding will provide you with the foundation to excel in this role.
As you will be working with multi-disciplinary teams, project management experience is required.
