An Engineering Consultancy with a long-standing history within the Scottish market is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Consultant to join their specialist team. About the employer: Employing around 500 staff across UK, they sit firmly within the mid-sized range. They are big enough to compete with many of the large global players but small enough to enable them to deliver a localised, 'hands on', expert engineering service that can be tailored from project to project. Working on a variety of projects in all industry sectors including international events this is a varied role working as a consultant in all aspects of engineering and design. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking the role of CDM Adviser/Principal Designer on a broad range of construction related projects Acting as a Safety Consultant in the provision of a broad range of H&S related consultancy services to clients Prepare and submit proposals in pursuit of such new clients and projects. The Person: Recognised H&S/Risk management qualifications and either holds or be working towards a Chartered Membership. A proactive approach to the implementation of all aspects of H&S management Past relevant experience within H&S consultancy Provide all necessary support to senior staff Good report writing and communication skills, both written and oral, required Ability to travel to and to work from project sites, including those located overseas. UK valid driving licence essential With this role comes a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and a flexible benefits package.
