Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who is currently seeking a Senior Architect & BIM Manager to work collaboratively with their expanding Architectural team.

This exciting role will involve working in the Residential, Education, and Blue light (police, fire and ambulance) sectors. The role focuses predominantly on RIBA stages 4-6 and has the possibility of hybrid working. This role is an opportunity that can be based at either our clients Eltham or Birmingham offices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate on a flexible basis in a Group environment to fulfil the project team's obligations.
  • Take responsibility for implementation of a BIM Management System comprising procedures, practices, tools, and templates necessary to comply with BIM Level 2.
  • Provide training, support and mentoring to facilitate the protocol delivery of the BIM Management System.
  • Lead on use, deployment, and assessment of REVIT Architecture in relation to BIM Management System.
  • Design, draw and compute, as required.
  • Take the lead in large and complex projects.

Skills and experience include:

  • Registered architect belonging to the ARB, RIBA
  • Expert use of Revit
  • Detailed experience of managing projects in a BIM Level 2 environment
