Qualified Teacher Role September Start Sheffield S1 LTF Recruitment are working with a fantastic Secondary School in the Sheffield area who are currently seeking an engaging Teacher who can provide a sense of awe and wonder to the learning experience of their pupils. You will be working alongside support staff who strive to promote the emotional and academic well-being of their pupils. The school offers outstanding facilities and a welcoming team that will assist you with delivering your lessons and promoting the wellbeing of their pupils. You will be offered weekly training in both safeguarding updates and curriculum training to ensure you are offering the best education for their students. Your main duties will include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4. Using the school's assessment framework to mark student's work. Work with the school SENCO to assess the progress of pupils with special educational needs. Attend department meetings to help reach the school's attainment levels. Take ownership of a form/tutor group to deliver the school's pastoral curriculum. Deliver Key Stage 4 examination content in line with the school's examination board. The successful candidate will: Holds a qualified teacher status - ECT's also welcome to apply. Strong confidence in teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum. Key Stage 5 not essential but desired. Can demonstrate classroom control and can implement behaviour management strategies. Has a passion for teaching and can promote continual student progress. Can work well within a team as well as independently. Has a confident understanding of different learning needs.
