Sheet Metal Production Manager - New opportunity for an experienced Production manager with a solid understanding of sheet metal manufacturing to join this large successful aerospace parts manufacturer. The role reports into the General manager and ensures all production targets and standards are met. You should have a good understanding of LEAN manufacturing and you will drive continuous improvement through the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the production process and resources from start to finish.
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets.
Ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Manage a team of engineers, technicians, and production staff and their training.
Ensuring all H&S targets and standards are met.
Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability
Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production targets are met
Ensure that all production documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Ensure that all production equipment is well-maintained and in good working order
We are looking for someone who ideally has a formal Health & safety qualification or at the very least can demonstrate a solid understanding of H&S in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
