Mechanical Contract Manager - Commercial projects - Northampton
A leading national Building Services Contractor is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Contract Manager to be based from their office in Northampton; managing projects between North London and North Nottingham. They offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including Education, Health, Defence, Residential and Commercial / Industrial.
As the Mechanical Contract Manager, you will be responsible to ensure that projects are running accordingly with the installation and specification requirements whilst ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation. As the Mechanical Contract Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities: Overseeing several MEPH Projects ranging from £1M - £15M (MEPH value) to an approximate value of £10M pa. Understanding Contract Commercial and Operational Terms and Conditions. Managing and Supporting Teams consisting of Project Managers, QHSE Manager, Supervisors, QS and Operatives to suit workload and clients requirements. Working and communicating alongside other Contract Managers. Reporting directly to the Branch Operations Manager. Assisting with Plant and Package Procurement on Projects.Applications are invited from candidates with the following skills and experience: Consistently good financial returns on projects, taking into account all relevant factors. Strong results orientation. Time Served Apprentice or relevant Mechanical qualifications. SMSTS. Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level. Mechanically biased but must be knowledgeable in both disciplines.
