What is the role?

Systems Analyst to assist in developing IT processes and systems that will improve the information flow.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • You will liaise closely with internal stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of new and current processes within the business.
  • You will be responsible for documenting internal processes and data flows to support the development of new processes that improve the management of business-critical information.
  • A large element of the role will be in understanding complex business functions and being able to fit this into the wider MIS plan.
  • You will develop UML or similar documentation to support the development of IT systems.
  • You will conduct research on software products and be able to demonstrate how they match the business requirements.
  • You will aim to develop reporting tools across all departments of the business.
  • Together with the Management Information and Systems Lead, you will test and rollout the new systems.

What skills & qualifications do I need?

  • Five years' experience of analysing processes, IT systems and technical requirements.
  • A degree level qualification, relevant to IT.
  • A good knowledge of process mapping
  • A good understanding of UML or similar documentation principles
  • Knowledge of change Control systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interview internal stakeholders to understand their roles and requirements.
  • Ideally you will have experience in Sharepoint, PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI
  • A full, valid, driving license
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft and Visio

This role is a 6 month FTC with the possibility of going permanent.
