This is the start of an exciting journey as the company has recently become an Employer Provider to deliver level 3 Beauty and Team Leading/Supervisor Apprenticeships.The company is offering a hybrid flexible work pattern which will consist of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working at home (some travel for observations may be required.Other benefits include: • Salary to £35000• 25 days+ bank holidays• Perkbox and genuine career opportunitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out internal quality assurance activities, ensuring that all assessments and qualifications are delivered in accordance with awarding body requirements and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities of the IQA(Internal Quality Assurer):• Conducting internal quality assurance activities to ensure that all assessments meet the required standards• Providing guidance and support to assessors and trainers in relation to assessment practices and processes• Conducting standardisation activities to ensure that assessment practices are consistent across the organisation• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all internal quality assurance activities• Liaising with external quality assurance bodies and awarding organisations as required• Support the Head of L+D to prepare for Quality, Monitoring and Support Visits• Identifying areas for improvement in assessment processes and procedures and working with relevant stakeholders to implement changes• Providing support and guidance to learners as requiredEssential Requirements:• A recognised IQA qualification (e.g. Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment)• Extensive experience of working in an IQA role within the Apprenticeship Sector• Vocational competence and expertise within the Beauty Sector, combined with a good understanding and knowledge of Team Leading/Supervisor Standards• A good understanding of regulatory requirements and awarding body standards• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently• A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed) is highly desirable• Experience of using e-portfolio systemsIf you are passionate about quality assurance and have a proven track record of success in an IQA role, we would love to hear from you.
