MB396 - Installation Project ManagerLocation: London and Home CountiesSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 + 10% BonusWorking Hours: Flexi Hours Monday to Friday (Hybrid role)Company Benefits: Company Vehicle (Electric car so now additional tax to pay), Enhanced pension scheme (up to 4% matched contributions)First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee multiple installations on behalf of our client based in London. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join an established yet expanding business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.Our client would also encourage ex-military applications, although all applications are welcome.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers re deliveries and availability and raise required purchase orders.
  • Produce programmes for installation works.
  • Produce H&S documents including:
  • Construction Phase Plan
  • Risk and Method Statements
  • Toolbox talks
  • Ensure correct welfare facilities available
  • Conduct site H&S inductions
  • Attend customer meeting as required by the customer
  • Site management
  • Conduct TBT's
  • Conduct site safety audits
  • Complete site audits to ensure installation quality and performance
  • Ensuring the Engineers' have been issued with the correct tools and PPE and are using it
  • Monitoring works against the programme
  • Liaise with other trades to sequence our works effectively
  • Coordinate with tester to ensure the lifts are ready for test
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as necessary
  • Raise purchase orders for minor works during installation phase
  • Prepare monthly financial summary reports
  • Manage project costs through to the financial close out of the project
  • Identify claims for customer and suppliers
  • Approval of Engineers holidays and overtime

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong engineering/construction background.
  • Good Communications skills, being able to deal with customer representatives, suppliers,' and engineers.
  • Basic IT skills, specifically, MS Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Reasonable literary and numerate skills.
  • Man-management experience.
  • Lift industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
