ROLE: ILS Engineer Location: Derby (Hybrid working) Salary: £40-55,000 + comprehensive benefits package As ILS Engineer you will work within a dedicated team developing the maintenance and support solution for the current UK submarine fleet as well as for future submarine designs. The Role: To be considered for the ILS Engineer role you should have: A broad engineering background. Experience of ILS approaches and ways of working is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided An ability to manage databases (Eagle experience is particularly desirable). A mindset to continually challenge the way we work. You will be responsible for: Optimising maintenance requirements for in-service submarines through proactively questioning existing practices. Development of maintenance task instructions. Identifying spares requirements & management of the 'LSAR' database. Support the development and verification of Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (ARM) requirements for our newest submarine reactor designs. The package: The salary on offer for the ILS Engineer role is up to £55,000 along with a benefits package, flexible working arrangement and fantastic career progression opportunities.
