Heating and Gas Maintenance Engineer Coventry City Council are looking for a Heating Maintenance Engineer to join them on a temporary basis. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager you will provide site based reactive repairs, planned maintenance and minor works. The position involves: - Installing and maintaining heating systems Installing domestic and commercial boils Installing and maintaining water heaters Gas Health & safety and Compliance Main duties include: - Responsible for carrying out all work in compliance with industry standards. Completion of reactive repair works. Insall domestic and commercial boilers and associated equipment. Liaise with customers ensuring works are carried out. Undertake planned preventative maintenance. Fault finding. Knowledge Required: - Domestic, industrial and commercial gas and oil-fired systems Statutory gas compliance Electrical and electronic controls desirable but not essential Educational: - Approved City & Guilds/CITB/ACS qualifications relevant to both domestic and commercial aspects of the industry. Commercial Gas Qualifications desirable but not essential. Rate of pay:- £17.00 per hour
