Head of Ecommerce North West Up to £80,000 + Package

Head of Ecommerce required for our global retail client.

As Head of Ecommerce you will be responsible for expanding both their own brand & associated brands through online marketplaces, with the objective of swiftly achieving a uniform marketplace position for the portfolio. The position is responsible for driving top line revenue growth while laying the foundation for opportunities to expand margin and grow the bottom line as the marketplace landscape becomes streamlined and optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the senior management on setting the strategic direction and vision for the online store & marketplace business, creating a blueprint and go to market strategy to launch branded and Private label portfolio on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay etc
• Own and grow P&L for all online store & marketplace accounts across UK & EU
• Identify opportunities to expand the breadth of product portfolio positioned to the marketplace channel; conduct competitive set analysis to define positioning and create a roadmap for gaining market share
• Manage key relationships with external stakeholders such as marketplace category leads whilst working with internal teams / vendors to keep track of purchase orders, inventory reconciliation, inventory planning, shipping metrics
• Track bottom-line drivers across portals
• Oversee advertising campaigns, track reviews and ratings, evaluate what deals and offers to run, track the best-seller rankings and deploy automation tools to increase conversion rate & traffic

Key KPI's

• Revenue for branded and Pvt Label biz
• EBITDA for entire online store & Market Place portfolio
• Special digital projects (syndicate content / cataloguing, identify automation opportunities for merchandising, pricing, reviews)
• Demand planning, promotion schemes, brand & order management, business development

Experience Required:

8+ years experience in a similar role handling webstores & Market Place business (Preferably in home textiles or Retail Sector and e-Commerce).

Exposure to Market Place business across international geographies.

Experience in Sales, Marketing and Analytics technology is preferred

Digital, e-commerce, strategy and/or CRM related development expertise is a plus

MBA/Post Graduation in Business Management from a premier institute. (preferred)
