Whether you are leaving college, employed and looking to boost your skills, unemployed and looking for a job or simply looking for a new challenge, an Apprenticeship will set you on the road to career success. Apprenticeships offer many advantages over other, more traditional, methods of learning. As well as working towards a nationally recognised qualification, you will also be developing skills directly relevant to your chosen career.
This is an excellent opportunity to combine on the job training, guidance, and support with taught modules at college to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to gain the Apprenticeship Level Two in Horticultural Studies. This is a two year apprenticeship with external training through Sparsholt College for the full two years, Winchester assistance will be given in respect of travel to offsite sessions.
The successful candidates will have a willingness to learn about Grounds Maintenance in an Environment Services setting through a work-based training programme and therefore ideally have 3 GCSE's at grade c or above ( to include Math's & English). Preference will be given to someone who lives or works in the New Forest District.
Due to funding criteria we are unable to accept applications from candidates who have achieved a degree qualification in this.
