We are urgently seeking a Graduate Noise Engineer to work for an independent acoustic specialist consultancy based near Guildford. Requirements are - BSc or MSc in Acoustics or related subject. Ideally a minimum of 6 months of commercial experience in Acoustics. Institute of Acoustics Membership. Full Driving licence. Excellent communication skills. IT literate. Awareness of legislation and policies surrounding Acoustics and Noise Control. Duties will be- Undertaking noise surveys and assessments. Acoustic modelling. Assisting with planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments. Completing project administration. Supporting senior staff. Liaising with senior and principal consultants. Writing reports. Project types covered- Residential and mixed use developments. Infrastructure. Industrial.
