Experienced Crane Engineer

Location: St Helens, Merseyside

Salary: £30k - £35k + Excellent Benefits

Our client are a specialist truck rental provider who has been delivering flexible rental solutions for more than 20 years. They offer a diverse range of heavy commercial truck products and vehicle specifications to meet all the commercial vehicle requirements.

The Role:

They are looking to recruit an experienced Crane Engineer with a min of 5+ years of experience to join their team. This is onsite based role and its Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm

Duties:

Maintaining cranes, prolonging the life of the equipment under the remit by means of preventative maintenance and servicing.
Reducing avoidable costs where possible for the group by achieving first time fix rate.
Reducing crane breakdowns by Preventative Maintenance on component items.
You will carry out fault diagnosis and route cause analysis on components after failure.

Requirements;

Minimum 5 years experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing various parts of crane and lifting equipment.
Ideally, you will hold an ALLMI Certification to carry out LOLER testing.
Candidates qualified to NVQ Level 3 will be considered
Knowledge and Understanding of LOLER regulations.
Ability to perform and oversee Loader testing.
To hold a full and clean driving licence.
