Base Salary: £40.4k - £50.6k per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for 2, dynamic and motivated individuals to join our LTS Futures team. These roles will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the LTS Futures Programme, which seeks to understand the capability of the local transmission system to be repurposed and uprated for use with hydrogen and inform the government heat policy decision in 2026.

What you'll need

  • This role will support the construction elements of the project and candidates will have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 5 years' experience or equivalent (time served apprentice) in addition to the following:
  • Knowledge of the practical application of Construction Design Management (CDM)
  • Interpretation of pipeline designs/drawings
  • Practical field experience including construction experience in high pressure pipelines
  • Hydrotest experience
  • Knowledge of natural gas transmission network/ Hydrogen competency preferred
  • Excellent standard of IT literacy
  • Excellent standard of communication and a good team member
