An international consumer electronics and engineering brand are seeking to recruit an Embedded Software Engineer to join their successful and expanding NPD team. As Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for: Writing code from scratch, designing and developing RTOS, motor controls and battery-powered systems. Collaborating with other teams such as hardware design, mechanical design and product management to ensure project delivery on time and to budget. Conducting functional and design reviews with other teams. Mentoring junior engineers. Conducting rapid prototyping and testing. We'd love to hear from you if you are an Embedded Software Engineer and have experience or skills in the following: Proven experience as a Firmware Design Engineer, Embedded Software or Firmware Engineer. Writing code from scratch, designing and developing RTOS, motor controls and battery-powered systems. C programming language and familiarity with embedded systems. Developing firmware for motor control, battery management and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN. Working with microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M series and familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD. Developing firmware for wireless communication such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and familiarity with relevant protocols. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
