Senior / Electrical Design Engineer - (Building Services) NW Kent Hybrid Working £35k to £60k, Dependent on Experience + Benefits Building Services / Consultancy / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer / Senior Electrical Design Engineer / MEP This electrical design engineer role is to join a friendly specialist team of building services design engineers, they are involved in a wide range of projects including mixed use, healthcare, commercial, student accommodation, education and high spec residential projects. All projects are carried out with a strong focus on sustainability. It s a great role to join a small reputable, flexible and modern business with established repeat customers. As you would expect from a professionally run SME the team take a great pride in their work and you will be a valued part of the design team contributing to projects from small site surveys through to multi-million-pound schemes. Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities Work closely with design team and drafting department on projects that include lighting, power, emergency system, fire alarm design, and schematics in accordance with British building regulations and standards. Develop electrical drawings and schedules using AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Develop lighting designs using Dialux/Relux Software. Visit site to conduct surveys of existing electrical systems. Sizing Cables cable using AMTECH or CYMAP software packages. Participate in design team meetings. Skills / Experience Required. You should have at least 2-5 years experience in electrical design in building services. A proficiency with AutoCAD and knowledge of REVIT. Degree/diploma or certificate in electrical engineering is preferred. Proficient at reading and interpreting technical specifications, design drawings, and details.
