Are you an outstanding classroom practitioner? Do you have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum? Are you a current phase leader or an experienced classroom practitioner who is ready to lead a team?
My client school is a fantastic Primary school set in the borough of Wandsworth. The school has an excellent reputation for outstanding teaching. The Early Years foundation stage department is very successful. Children come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and often start with the school with below average skills. The teaching team work very hard to build strong relationships with parents and carers through home visits and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment
Pupils develop quickly in all 6 areas of the EYFS curriculum. Attainment is phonics, writing and reading is very good. The EYFS department is very well designed to encourage indoor and outdoor play and is well resourced. There is a cohesive teaching team in place that has been managed well. They are looking forward to their new phase leader starting in September. The post has arisen due to retirement.
This role would suit an experienced classroom practitioner who is an able manager. You will need to be caring and emotionally intelligent. The ability to be able to quickly develop positive relationships with adults and children is essential for this role. You will need British Qualified teacher status.
