Job Title: P-way/ Track Construction Manager

Location: Cardiff, United Kingdom

Employment Type: Contract

A leading UK contractor that specializes in delivering high-quality rail infrastructure projects across the country, a proven track record of successfully completing complex projects within budget and on schedule. We are currently seeking an experienced P-way/Track Construction Manager to join the team on a contract basis for a rail project in Cardiff.

About the Role:

As a P-way/Track Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of track works and managing the P-way/Track construction team to ensure the successful completion of the project. You will be accountable for ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors, stakeholders, and other project team members to ensure that all objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of track works on the project
  • Ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Manage subcontractors, stakeholders, and other project team members
  • Ensure that all objectives are met
  • Report on project progress to senior management
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and specifications
  • Identify and manage project risks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a P-way/Track Construction Manager
  • Relevant track construction qualifications and experience
  • Experience in managing teams and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of relevant standards and specifications
