Cloud Service Design Manager - ITILA highly reputable corporation is current recruiting a Cloud Service Design Manager who has strong capabilities in service design/transition processes within a regulated environment. Additionally, you must have proven background in service management design preferably within a cloud related setting for an enterprise corporation. Our client is offering a permanent salary of £70,000 + 15% bonus + 28 days holiday to be located in Chatham or Wolverhampton on a hybrid basis.This is an exciting time to join our long standing client who is about to embark on a Modernisation and Simplification Programme. The Cloud Service Design Manager is a key member of the Cloud Agile Team who is responsible for delivering an appropriate and agreeable service model aligned to the technologies that the modernisation programme will deliver. Core responsibilities:• This is a greenfield opportunity to enhance our service design process to be fit for the adoption of cloud technologies, incorporating all the functional and non-functional requirements needed to deliver the appropriate supporting service for our new modernised solutions, aligning to ITILV4 with an overly of Agile development.• Servicing as the voice of operations' for the team entrails a broad range of responsibilities. The SD must build and manage key relationships with the business and programme change functions, be able to work at pace across multiple cloud technology solutions, understand the complexities of integrated micro services and be able to articulate capability requirements to ensure sustainability of these new technical solutions.• Define a set of service principles that will be applied to desirable solutions, namely recoverability, resilience, operational performance, customer performance, accessibility, integrations, supportability, cost and sustainability.• Lead the operational service design thinking activities that ensure a sustainable support model is established that ensures each micro service and the overarching end to end service meets business expectation.• Working collaboratively with each technology owners, product owner and process owners to ensure holistic planning of service is built into new and changing services.• Building out transitional capabilities to support the warranty/hypercare process for go-live.• Act as an advocate for the Service Design process, championing use of the process, tool and standards.• Work with the IT Knowledge & Communication Lead to help design tailored documentation for the supported systems where appropriate, including, but not limited to, guidance around installation procedures, configuration, and system rules etc. • Assist in the management of all audit work and any arising audit actions connected with Service Design - both internal and external.Experience requirements:• Be a seasoned service management designer with a specialist IT skillset (Cloud or related), and have a blend of experience across delivery, service management, process integration and the practical application of contemporary technologies. • Equivalent of 5 years previous experience of Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills and Agile Delivery experience is essential• Equivalent of 5 years previous experience of Strong Cloud enablement and implementation experience with one or more of Business and Technology Strategy alignment, Multi-Cloud Management, Operating Model/CCoE, Governance, Risk & Controls, FinOps, SecOps, Culture and Education is essential• Strong knowledge of Architectural knowledge with one or more of MicroServices, 12 Factor Applications and Event Driven architectures is essential• ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation Level is essential• Knowledge of designing services support by SecOps & DevOps culture and tooling is desirableBenefits package:• 15% Bonus • 28 days holiday• Generous contributory pension scheme• Discretionary bonus scheme• Free parking• Training Cloud Service Design Manager - ITIL
