We are recruiting for a Facilities and Maintenance Officer to join our clients Estate Team. This role is ideal for anyone with experience as a caretaker, handyperson, or a general maintenance role. You will be responsible for providing thorough and efficient caretaking and maintenance services across multiple sites, delivering high quality and professional support. You will have experience and knowledge of health and safety policies, including safe lifting, handling, and moving procedures. You will be able to demonstrate your attention to detail and your ability to multitask and prioritise. Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as being a great problem solver. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Securely opening and closing buildings and the site Relocating and setting up of furniture and equipment Conducting maintenance, repairs, and servicing of fittings and fixtures Ensuring that the grounds and buildings are kept presentable and free from litter Reporting health and safety hazards Reporting complex and technical issues to the relevant members of staff Taking appropriate action to prevent trespassing and unauthorised parking. Due to the nature of the role it is required that the applicant is reasonably physically fit to carry out tasks such as lifting and moving. Travel between sites and some weekend duties are required and applicants will need a full, clean drivers licence. Any successful candidate will have to undergo a full DBS check prior to starting.
