Job title: AHP (Allied Health Professionals) Booking Coordinator -Staff Bank

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 09:00-17:30, Hybrid working

The role of an AHP Booking Coordinator is crucial to the success of filling the client's temp vacancies. The AHP Bookings Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for all line managers at Imperial College NHS Trust. The Booking Coordinator will maintain the delivery of a high-quality service to all managers requiring temporary staff and to manage the execution of operational requirements for specific accounts within the Reed portfolio to ensure that:

  • Service levels meet and exceed client expectations
  • Contract performance and client satisfaction leads to reference ability, retention, and extension of the contract term and scope

The AHP Booking Coordinator is the point of contact for operational matters for our clients and it is expected that most queries and tasks will be resolved at this level.

Delivering Service Excellence and Quality Standards

  • Owning the fulfilment of bank and agency requirements, either directly through the pool of candidates or through the co-ordination of the agency support supply chain
  • Liaising with the resourcing and aftercare consultant to ensure the pipeline of candidates mirrors the staffing demand from the client, customer satisfaction and candidate performance issues are flagged
  • Effective utilisation of the available candidate pool
  • Monitoring fill rates and ensuring adherence to contractual requirements
  • Working closely with line managers to ensure compliance to agreed processes and authorisations, escalations, complaint handling and other procedures, protocols and polices
  • Maintaining accurate data to ensure delivery of effective, useful management information
  • Ensuring that activities managed onsite on the client premises are seamlessly integrated with the delivery of outputs from dedicated client teams based offsite (timesheet generators, payroll, credit control)
  • Delivering all services to clients with expertise, a focus on quality and demonstrating a desire to meet challenging delivery targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Ensuring the establishment and development of world-class client relationships across all line managers and key stakeholders within the client site
  • Demonstrating a clear and up-to-date understanding of the clients ongoing staffing requirements
  • Working closely with the line managers to identify areas of improvement and potential cost savings for the client
  • Representing REED both internally and externally with the professionalism expected of a market-leading organisation

Adherence to Financial Targets

  • Promoting strategies for optimising usage of internal temporary staffing to reduce reliance on agency staff
  • Working cooperatively with line managers and co members in delivery of year-on-year agreed agency savings
  • Ensuring that all activities undertaken in service delivery are in line with contractual and Service Level Agreement requirements, including appropriate escalations and authorisations for shifts
