I am currently looking to recruit an Acoustics Consultant to work near Basingstoke for a independent consultancy. You need to be degree qualified, associate or full membership of the Institute of Acoustics and have at least 3 years working experience in Acoustics. Duties will include- Undertaking noise and vibration surveys, noise impact assessments and noise at work assessments. Supporting junior staff. Writing technical reports. Using noise modelling software to predict noise from complex environments. Project management. My client is seeking a creative and talented individual, who has excellent communication skills and is able to connect with a wide range of people. You need to have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and have a good knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidelines affecting acoustics, noise and vibration such as BS 4142, BS 5228 and BB 93.
